You wake up in the wild with a backpack: a sleeping bag, a hunting rifle with 6 rounds, a knife, a water bottle, a box of 10 matches, two tins of beans and some jerky. Survive until rescue night and be standing by a lit signal fire when the helicopter searches.
Keep yourself alive
- ❤️ Health drops when you're starving, parched, freezing, overheating or exhausted, and slowly recovers when you're fed, watered and warm.
- 🍖 Food: eat from your bag. Cook raw meat and fish at a fire first, or risk a stomach ache.
- 💧 Water: drink from your bottle (5 sips). Fill it at rivers and ponds, but boil that water at a fire. The sea is salt. Rain collectors give clean water; snow melts into it.
- 🔥 Warmth follows the air: hot desert days, freezing nights, rain and wind. Fires, a lean-to and a bedroll keep you warm.
- ⚡ Energy: sleep in a bedroll. When everyone is asleep, the night passes quickly.
Moving and doing things
- Move with WASD/arrows, or drag the left side of the screen. Shift or 🏃 to run (thirstier). Tap the ground to walk there.
- ✋ Use (or E, or tap the thing) does the obvious thing nearby: gather from trees, rocks, grass, bushes, palms and cacti; pick things up; open your camp's fires, crates and beds; fill your bottle at water.
- Tap an animal to hunt it with your rifle: the sights pulse, so fire when they're tightest. Out of rounds? Throw a stone at small game.
- At the water's edge you can fish: wait for the float to dip, then pull.
- 📦 Supply kits (green crates with a white cross) are scattered across every map. Each opens once and holds matches, rifle rounds, food, water pouches, bandages (+25 health), sticks or rope (rope counts as fibre).
- Predators hunt you: bears (slow but brutal, 2 shots), jaguars, coyotes, wolves (bolder at night), monitor lizards, charging boars and snakes. Run (you're faster than most), shoot, or get to a lit fire: they won't come near the firelight.
Make camp
🪓 Build shows what you can make. Pick one and a fine grid appears around you: green squares are fine, red ones aren't. Tap where it should go, ↻ to turn a fence, ✔ to build. A campfire (4 sticks, 3 stones) needs lighting: a needle sweeps and you strike when it's in the gold. Wind, rain and blizzards shrink the gold; a lean-to helps; dry desert wood lights easily. Feed fires sticks and logs. Build a lean-to for shelter, a bedroll from your sleeping bag, crates to share supplies, a rain collector, fences against wolves, torches, and before rescue night a signal fire.
Biomes
- 🌾 Grassland: rivers, deer and berries. Wind makes fires harder, and wolves come out at night.
- 🌴 Jungle: water and fruit everywhere, thick brush, rain, snakes.
- 🏜️ Desert: dry wood lights easily and cacti hold water, but days scorch and nights freeze.
- 🏝️ Island: coconuts, crabs and fish. The sea is salt, so catch the rain.
- ❄️ Tundra: fish under the ice and herds of deer, but the cold is the enemy.
Modes
- Solo: you alone (saved on this device).
- Co-op: everyone shares the biome but starts far apart. Follow the arrows to find each other and camp together. Hold Use next to a collapsed friend to revive them.
- PvP: rifles and thrown stones stagger rivals (no blood). Last one standing wins, or everyone at the signal fire on rescue night.
- Multiplayer: one world and no fighting. Each of you survives your own way.
